D. Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy)
Course Overview
To be eligible for the D. Pharm. course, you must have passed the 10+2 exam in the Science stream from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks. The subjects you must have taken include Physics, Chemistry, and either Biology, Mathematics, Biotechnology, or Computer Sciences.
Duration
The course is two academic years long, with each year consisting of at least 180 working days. It also includes at least 500 hours of practical training over a minimum of three months.
B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy)
Course Overview

As per the rules and regulations of The Tamilnadu Dr M.G.R Medical University, Chennai/ Directorate of Medical Education, Chennai, Government of Tamilnadu, Chennai.

The candidate shall have passed HSC examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany & Zoology or Mathematics subjects.

40% aggregate marks in the above subjects are mandatory.

35% aggregate marks for SC & ST Candidates.

Vocational stream & National open school certificate is not eligible for admission.

The candidate should have completed 17 years of age on the date of admission or should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) - Lateral entry
Course Overview

The candidate shall have passed Diploma in Pharmacy from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act 1948.

40% aggregate marks in the first- and second-year Diploma in Pharmacy examinations.

35% aggregate marks in the first- and second-year Diploma in Pharmacy examinations for SC & ST Candidates.

Vocational stream & National open school certificate is not eligible for admission.
